Obituary for Jimmy Dyches
Barnwell SC paid obit Jimmy Dyches, 73, passed away in the Southern Palmetto Hospital on Monday, Dec. 29, 2014. Jimmy was born in Blackville SC on June 25, 1941. He was the son of the late Leman Dyches and Ruby Hutson Dyches Campbell. He retired from the City of Barnwell Street Department. He was a member and Deacon of Ashleigh Baptist Church. He loved to fish and work in the outdoors. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and brother. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Funeral services will be 3 pm Friday, January 2, 2015 in Ashleigh Baptist Church with Rev. Bob Scroggs officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6-8 pm Thursday at Mole Funeral Home. Memorials in memory of Jimmy Dyches may be made in care of Mole Funeral Home, PO Box 254, Barnwell SC 29812. Survivors include his wife, Mary Evelyn Cook Dyches of Barnwell; son, Jimmy Rodney (Jennifer) Dyches of Blackville; daughters, Angie Dyches (Robert) Chavis of Barnwell and Tami Gates of Orange Park Fl.; brothers, James (Margie) Campbell of Williston, Larry Campbell of Blackville; sisters, Carolyn D. Still and Betty C. Cook of Barnwell; grandchildren Zack (Jenny) Chavis, Noah Chavis, Joshua Dyches and step granddaughter, Shelia Dicks; great grandchildren Leann Chavis and Abel Chavis; uncle, Roosevelt Dyches.
