Joe Tyler Morris, 60, passed away on September 21st, 2024 in Aiken, SC. He was born in Barnwell, SC on February 9th, 1964 to the late Grover Thomas Morris Sr. and Tyler Sue Wall Morris. Joe was a good person. He loved to fish and to be outdoors, and especially enjoyed camping and fishing at Santee.
He is survived by his sisters Vickie E. Smith of Barnwell, SC, Pam (Joe) Dobson of Sycamore, SC, and Roxsand (Joey) Morgan of Louisiana; daughters Brittany Williams (Dakota Bourne) and Kristy Sanders; six grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Grover Thomas Morris Sr. and Tyler Sue Wall Morris; brother Grover Thomas Morris Jr.; and sister Annette W. Chavis.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 27th, 2024 at 3:00 PM in the Mole Funeral Home Chapel, with graveside following in the First Baptist Church of Olar cemetery. Rev. Farrell Ray will be officiating.
