Obituary for John Simpson "Johnny" Fulmer
John Simpson “Johnny” Fulmer 63, passed away on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at his home.
Johnny was born in Bamberg County on April 21, 1958 and was a son of the late Harvey Fulmer and the late Christine Gray and Daniel Young. He was a former law enforcement officer with the Barnwell, Blackville and Springfield SC Police Departments and he was a mechanic. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. He loved spending time with his family, fixing cars and hunting. He never met a stranger.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, September 25,2021 11 am in the Barnwell County Memorial Cemetery at the airport with Rev. Charles Morris officiating. The family will receive friends at Mole Funeral Home on Friday, September 24, 2021 from 5 pm until 7 pm.
Survivors include his loving wife of 39 years, Phyllis Riddle Fulmer; son, Greg (Kristi) Fulmer, daughters, Crystal (Ben) Ray and Pam (Rickie) Bodiford; brother James ( Jennifer )Fulmer; 13 grandchildren.
