Obituary for Joseph Clarence Mise Sr.
Joseph Clarence Mise Sr., 90, passed away at his home on Friday, October 3, 2014. Mr. Joe was born in Hickory N.C. on February 25, 1924. He was a son of the late Oscar and Sallie Elizabeth Horn Mise. He was a navy veteran of WWII and retired from the Savannah River Plant as a maintenance mechanic with 36 years' service. He was a member of the Barnwell United Methodist Church. He was a loving father, grandfather and friend. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Monday, October 6, 20124 in the Barnwell United Methodist Church with Rev. Michael Hood officiating. Burial will follow in the Barnwell Co. Memory Gardens on Reynolds Rd. Memorials may be made to the Barnwell United Methodist Church, PO Box 126, Barnwell SC 29812. Survivors include daughter and son in law, Linda and Tommy McCoy of Barnwell; sons and daughters in law, Bobby and Becky Mise of Barnwell, Terry and Angie Mise of Barnwell, Richard and Jackie Mise of Moultrie GA.; sister, Eunice Mise Sisk of Bostick NC; fourteen grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Louise Isom Mise and sons, John Eric Mise and Joseph C. "Joey" Mise Jr.
