Obituary for Joyce "Joy" Lee Barwick - Zawacki
Joyce Lee “Joy” Barwick-Zawacki, 55, passed away on Sunday, July 14, 2019 surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with cancer.
Joy was born on June 19, 1964 in Manning SC. She was a daughter of Norman and Carolyn Timmons Barwick. She was the office manager of Jim’s Tire and Auto. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt and grandmother. She dearly loved her grandchildren. She loved spending time on the river with her family and was an avid birdwatcher.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 18, 2019 at 11 am in the Mole Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Mark Epperson officiating. Burial will follow in the Barnwell County Memorial Cemetery at the airport. Visitation will be from 6-8pm on Wednesday, July 17, 2019 at the funeral home.
Survivors include her husband, Jim Zawacki of Olar; Step Mother, Betty W. Barwick of Barnwell; sons, James (Melania) Zawacki Jr. of Barnwell and Kevin (Christina) Correll of Barnwell; daughter Shelley (Steven) Walling of Barnwell; sister, Norma Barwick (Mike) Feagin of Barnwell; Step sister, Cynthia Wall of Barnwell; step brothers Danny and Kenny Wall of Barnwell; grandchildren, Charlotte and Cyliegh Zawacki, McKineley Walling, and Liam Correll. nieces and nephews, Amanda (Stacy) Delk, Christopher (Vanessa) Housand, Mikie (Victoria) Feagan, Cody Feagin, and Jonathan Ward. She was predeceased by a sister Virginia B. Housand. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Mole Funeral Home, P.O. Box 254, Barnwell, SC 29812.
