Obituary for Juanita Bryant Duncan
Mrs. Juanita Bryant Duncan, 86, widow of J.T. Duncan passed away Saturday, June 30, 2018 in the Augusta University Medical Center.
Mrs. Duncan was born in Allendale County on November 3, 1931. She was the daughter of the late Rexie and Delton Wilson Bryant. She retired as supervisor of the Child Protection Services of the Allendale Co. Department of Social Services, and was a former teacher at Jefferson Davis Academy. She was a member of the Barnwell First Baptist Church and the Connor Sunday School Class. Mrs. Nita was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday July 3, 2018 at 10 am in the Barnwell First Baptist Church Chapel with Rev. Bart Kelley officiating. Burial will follow in the Lower Three Runs Baptist Church Cemetery, Martin SC. Visitation will be held on Monday evening from 6-8 pm at Mole Funeral Home.
Survivors include her children, Jimmy (Dianne) Duncan and Joanna (Jack) Priester of Martin SC; grandchildren, Joy (Jason) Pataky, Hollie (Tyler) Scott, James (Bethany) Duncan, Rachel (Barrett) Boulware and Lindsey (Arbrey) Brown, and four great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to the Elevator Fund at the Barnwell First Baptist Church, or to Lower Three Runs Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
