Obituary for Juanita Lee Creech Wallace
Round O South Carolina Juanita Lee Creech Wallace went to be with her Lord on Tuesday March 24, 2015 at the age of 93. She was born in the Big Fork Community of Barnwell SC on May 28, 1921 to Henry Clay Creech and Inez Browning Creech. Juanita died peacefully in her sleep at her home in Round O, SC. She was graduate of Barnwell High School and Columbia Commercial College. She was married to the late Lucius Watson Wallace, who was a former sheriff of Beaufort County. A farmer's daughter, Juanita was an avid gardener, talented seamstress, and nature lover. Nearly her entire life was spent in Barnwell, Bamberg, and Beaufort and for her last 35 years in Colleton County. A member of St. Matthews Baptist Church of St. George. She raised two daughters and a son. She was predeceased by her parents, husband, sister, Inez Browning "Brownie" Creech Ginkel and grandson, Henry Watson Wallace II and step mother Elizabeth "Tista" Thomas Creech. Surviving are daughters Dolores "Dody" Wallace Morgan of Round O and Susan Wallace Whittle (Frederick J. Whittle) of Charleston; a son Henry Watson Wallace (Cynthia Padgett) of Ruffin; grandchildren, Christopher Neal Morgan (Katrina), Wilkerson Wallace Whittle, Christie Yvonne Brown (Tony), and Charles Clay Wallace (Holly); Great grandchildren, Madeline Morgan, Brie Trezevant, Thomas Trezevant, Anna Brown, Zachary Brown, Lily Wallace and Henry Wallace; Step grandchildren, Melody Craven (Bill) and Courtney Nettles; Step Great Grandchildren, Samuel Nettles, Ashton Nettles, Caitlin Simmons and Rachel Craven. Graveside services will be held at 3 pm Friday, March 27, 2015 in the Creech Family Cemetery located on Big Fork Rd. Barnwell SC. Visitation will be held at Mole Funeral Home from 1:00 pm until 2:30 pm before the service. The family suggest that memorials be made to the Gentiva Hospice Foundation, 7801 Mesquite Bend Rd. Suite 105, Irving TX. 75063.
