Obituary for Julian Baxley
Floyd Julian Baxley, 70, passed away on Saturday, December 1,2018 in the Aiken Regional Medical Center.
Julian was born in Barnwell County on June 21,1948 and was a son of the late L.B. and Lucille Still Baxley. He was raised by his grandparents, the late Wash and Bertie Still He was a retired truck driver with the Savannah River Site and a member of the Mount Lebanon Christian Church. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and hunting.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 3 pm in Mount Lebanon Christian Church with Rev. Robert Altman and Rev. Jody Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6-8 Monday evening at Mole Funeral Home.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Bessinger Baxley; son Jeffrey (Crystal) Baxley; daughter, Diana Baxley Zorn; Step children, Melinda Ray (Clint) Hutto, Ricky (Tracy) Ray, Bill Ray and Bob Ray of Barnwell; Brother Jackie (Betty Jean) Baxley of Barnwell; sister, Helen Still Hutto of Blackville; 19 grandchildren, five great grandchildren. He was predeceased by siblings, Mildred Black, Louise Steed, Leroy, Romey, Jimmy, Ralph, Clifford and George Still.
