Obituary for Kathleen Smoak Rosier
Barnwell SC Kathleen Smoak Rosier, 73, passed away on Friday, January 3, 2014. Kathy was born on January 23, 1940 in Bamberg County. She was the daughter of the late Thomas Gilbert and Mozelle Gillam Smoak. She was predeceased by a brother Phillip Smoak. She was a homemaker and helped her husband on their family farm. She was a member of the Barnwell First Baptist Church. She was a loving and devoted wife, sister and aunt. Kathy will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 3 pm Sunday, January 5, 2014 in the Barnwell First Baptist Church with Rev. Keith Richardson officiating. Burial will follow in the Barnwell County Memorial Cemetery by the airport. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service in the church. Memorials may be made to the Barnwell First Baptist Church, 161 Allen St. Barnwell SC 29812 or the charity of your choice. Survivors include her husband, J.W. Rosier of Barnwell; sister, Christine (Wade) Hough of Olar; brother, Tommy (Debra) Smoak of Barnwell; sister in law, Erma Jean Edenfield of Barnwell; niece, Miranda (Rusty) Jackson of Barnwell and their children, Cody, Caleb and Austin Jackson of Barnwell; nephews, Brad Hough and his family, Zoe and Ben Hough of Aiken, Roland Edenfield, Jamie and Derek Dyches of Barnwell.
