Obituary for Leroy Still, SR.
Leroy Still Sr., 65, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family on Monday, September 29, 2014. Leroy was born in Barnwell on August 27, 1949. He was a son on the late Toy and Magalene Carroll Still. He was a master automotive paint and body man. He retired as a teamster with 28 years from the Savannah River Site. He was a member of the Teamsters Local 509 and a lifelong member of Friendship Baptist Church. He loved ford mustangs, classic cars and NASCAR racing. He was a loving husband, father, PawPaw and BopBop. Funeral services will be held at 4 pm Thursday in the Friendship Baptist Church with Rev. Marshall Still and Rev. Farrell Ray officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday evening from 6-8 pm at Mole Funeral Home. The family request memorials be made to Suzanne Still, 264 Blossom Rd. Barnwell SC 29812 to help with the expenses of Leroy's illness. Survivors include his loving wife of 44 years, Suzanne H. Still; son, Leroy (Frances) Still Jr.; daughter, Becky (Al) Kinard; brothers, John Rice (Betty) Still, Cannie (Dianna) Still and sister in law, Betty Jo Still; grandchildren, Cortney Still, Leroy Still III, Kinsley Kinard, Al Kinard III and Ali Kinard. Special friends, Jim Kearse, Marshall Still, Lee Carroll and Gary Hooper and his pall BoBo. He was predeceased by brothers, Joe Willie Still, James Still, Floyd Still and Redden Still.
