Obituary for Linda Brookins Niegowski
Linda Brookins Niegowski, 52, passed away at home on the morning of February 4th, 2026. She was born on August 22nd, 1973, to Alta Anderson Brookins and the late Jerry Brookins in Augusta, GA.
She was a loving mother and wife; she enjoyed cooking, crafts, swimming, and keeping up with the latest Bravo housewives shows. She loved helping those she could with anything she had, and she most enjoyed spending time with those she kept close, known as Leeloo to those who knew her best.
She is survived by her husband, Michael Niegowski of Barnwell, SC; her children, McKayla Reagan Niegowski, Jacob (Destiny) Elliott of Sardis, GA, and Lindsey Elliott of Augusta, GA; her grandchild, Wren Elliott; her siblings, Kevin Brookins Hanks (Veronica), Eugene, OR, DeeDee Baggitt (Keith), Merrit Island, FL, Tiffany Brookins Gunder (Shawn), Hephzibah, GA, Alta A. Brookins, Hephzibah, GA, and many nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
She is preceded in death by her father, Jerry T. Brookins of Hephzibah, GA; her brother, Kerry Wayne Hanks of Sioux Falls, SD; and her nephew, Joey.
Her Memorial Service will be held on February 14th, 2026, at 1:00 pm at Mole Funeral Home Chapel. Travis Morehead will be officiating the service.
