Obituary for Lonnie Benjamin "Ben" Kennedy
Lonnie Benjamin “Ben” Kennedy, 74, passed away on Tuesday, December 15,2020 in the Aiken Regional Medical Center.
Ben was born in Barnwell SC on January 4,1946 and was a son of the late Benjamin and Sarah Briggs Kennedy. He was a truck driver Pender Disposal and Quality Services. He was a loving father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He will be missed by his family and friends.
Graveside services will be held on Sunday, December 20, 2020 at 3 pm at the Barnwell County Memorial Cemetery at the airport. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 5-7 pm at Mole Funeral Home. Masks and other Covid rules will be observed.
Survivors include his wife, Tiffany K. Kennedy; children, Victoria Crozier, Sarah Williams, Shannon (Dianna) Kennedy, Benjamin Kennedy, Melissa (Jeffery) Gibson, Derek Kennedy, Jessica (Brandan) Sturkie, Faye (Clinton) Bragdon, Kayla Kennedy, Balie (Carlos) Kennedy, Brooklyn Kennedy and Raven Kennedy; grandchildren, Jennifer Rivers, Tiffany (Kiran) Sandrapaty, AJ (Alison) Crozier, Ciera Williams, Tiera Williams, Taylor Crozier, Douglas Grubbs, Kiera Williams, Tamera rubs, Dustin Grubbs, Dayton Grubbs, Christopher Kennedy, Nicholas Kennedy, Ashanti Kennedy, Charlotte Sturkie and Gabriel Sturkie; 11 great-grandchildren; sister, Ruby Aubert; several nieces and nephews. He was also predeceased by sisters, Brenda J. Anderson and Lillie B. Richardson; brothers, Hamp, Horace, Frank and Wade Sweat.
