Obituary for Lottie Powell Cook
Lottie Powell Cook, 96, went to be with her Loving Lord on Saturday, October 24, 2020 at the Williston Health and Rehabilitation.
Lottie, more commonly known as “Mother” to all of her friends and family, was born in Barnwell County on July 10, 1924 and was a daughter of the late Thomas and Sallie Webb Powell. She was a member of the Edisto Baptist Church of Williston, retired employee of Shuron Inc, and also worked at Walmart of Barnwell. She loved her pets, working in her garden, and growing beautiful flowers. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great grandmother. She will truly be missed by her family and friends.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, October 28, 2020 at 11 am in the Barnwell County Memorial Cemetery by the Airport, with Rev. Timmy Gunnells officiating. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 27, 2020 from 5-7 pm in the Mole Funeral Home. Masks and social distancing will be observed at the services and visitation.
Survivors include her sons, Billy Bonnette (Vangie) of Barnwell, SC, Ricky Bonnette of Hilda, SC, David Cook, Sr. of Barnwell, SC, and Johnny Cook of Aiken, SC; daughter, Linda Cook Greenwood (Tom) of Jackson, SC; 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and several great-great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, John B. Cook, her infant son Mark Cook, and her many siblings.
