Obituary for Louise Briggs Fields
Louise Briggs Fields, 88, peacefully met her Lord on Wednesday, June 17,2020.
Mrs. Fields was born in Barnwell County on October 14,1931 and was a daughter of the late Eddie and Marian Stevens Briggs. She was a former telephone operator and became a floral designer at the former Judy’s Florist and presently at Carol’s Florist. She was a member of Mt. Olivet Baptist Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 20,2020 at 11:00AM in the Mt. Olivet Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Mark Epperson officiating. Social Distancing will be observed. Visitation will be held from 5-7 pm on Friday, June 19,2020 at Mole Funeral Home.
Survivors include her daughter, Harriett F. (Michael) Smith of Barnwell, granddaughter, Heather (Tony) Smith of Barnwell; sister, Kathrine Ferguson Johnson of St. Petersburg Fla.; sister in law, Barbara Briggs of Barnwell; nieces and nephews, Dianne (Richard) Brown, Barbara Storey and Doug Storey of Barnwell and several other nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her loving husband Jack Fields, siblings, Judson Briggs, Lillie Mae Davis and Irene Cheek and nephew, Frank Storey.
