Obituary for Margaret Freeman Hutto
Denmark SC paid obit Margaret Freeman Hutto, 93, widow of Willie H. Hutto passed away Tuesday, May 26, 2015 in Aiken SC after a long battle with a heart condition and a broken hip. Born in Bamberg County on November 10, 1921, she was the daughter of Earl and Eula Freeman. She was a homemaker all of her life. She loved to cook and was known for her chocolate meringue pie and chocolate layer cakes. She had been a member of Ghents Branch Baptist Church since childhood. She taught Sunday school for many years. She was the oldest member of her church and was loved by many. She is survived by a son Jimmy H. (Libby) Hutto of Denmark SC and a daughter, Faye H. Sandifer of Aiken; five grandchildren, Kevin (Donna) Hutto, Darin (Amy) Hutto and Karin H. (Ray) Coker of Denmark, SC, Lisa S (Scotty) Beasley and Keith (Carla) Sandifer of Aiken SC.; seven great grandchildren and one great- great grandchild. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 28th at 3 pm in the Ghents Branch Baptist Church with Rev. Bert Petty officiating and burial to follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday May 27th from 6-8 pm at Mole Funeral Home, 9399 Patterson St. Barnwell SC or at the home of Mrs. Hutto. Pallbearers will be Kevin Hutto, Darin Hutto, Keith Sandifer, Hunter Hutto, Spencer Sandifer, Nickolas Sandifer, Cash Coker, Scotty Beasley and Ray Coker. Honorary pallbearers will be nephews.Mrs. Hutto was predeceased by her parents and husband, Willie H. Hutto, 4 brothers, Ernest, Hammond, David and Earl Freeman and also a special son in law, Frank Sandifer.
