Obituary for Margie Reed Deer
Margie Reed Deer, 85, widow of J. Wesley Deer, Sr., passed away Wednesday, September 24, 2014 in Barnwell, SC. Born In Barnwell, SC on July 15, 1929, she was the daughter of the late William Harold and Hattie Margie Perry Reed, Sr. She was a member of Olar First Baptist Church and was retired from the Barnwell County Hospital as a materials manager after 27 years. She was a loving mother and grandmother Funeral services will be held on Sunday, September 28, 2014 at 3:00PM in the Olar First Baptist Church, with Rev. Thomas Terry and Rev. Wayne Lovett officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 5-7PM at Mole Funeral Home. Survivors include sons; J. Wesley Deer, Jr. of Olar and Todd (Donna) Deer of State Road, NC, daughters; Tanya D. (Robert) Watford of Myrtle Beach, SC and Robyne D. (Jerry) Joyner, Sr. of Olar, 15 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, brothers; Rev. Rupert Reed of Blackville and John Perry Reed of Central, SC.
