Obituary for Marion Still
Marion Still, 83, of Hilda, SC went to be with the Lord on June 5, 2021.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00PM Monday, June 7, 2021 at Hilda First Baptist Church with Rev. Ted Still, Rev. Donnie Delk, and Rev. Tony Carter officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the church. Serving as pallbearers will be Jerry Still, Tim Still, Travis Still, Brent Still, Billy Still, and Darren Towne. Honorary pallbearers will be Michael Smoak, Michael Hutto, and Jason Hutto.
Bornin in Barnwell County he was the son of the late Franklin and Susie Mae Still. He was married to Betty Still for 67 years. He loved to plant a garden and was known to have the best tomatoes around. He also loved to cut his grass. He was loved by many and always known as Uncle Marion. He served as a deacon of his church for many years. He was a member of Hilda Masonic Lodge.
Survivors include a daughter Donna (Kevin) Hutto of Denmark, two grandchildren, Ryan (Shannon) Bragg and Alyssa Hutto, three great grandchildren, Sadie Bragg, Amelia Bragg, and Garrett Bragg, a brother, Johnny (Annie Laura) Still, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his daughter Debbie Still Bragg, twin sister, Miriam Still, and brothers Cecil still and Rev. Alfred Still.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Hilda First Baptist Church, P.O. Box 59, Hilda, SC 29813. The family would also like to give a special thanks to Edisto Hospice for their love and care. Mole Funeral Home of Barnwell is assisting the family.
