Obituary for Martha Zissette Hutto
Martha Zissette Hutto, 95, of Blackville, SC passed away on September 30th, 2024. She was born in Denmark, SC on January 12th, 1929 to the late Brunson Zissette and Ivey Sanders Zissette.
She was married to her husband Frank Hutto of Hilda, SC for over 55 years. She was a well-known and sought after caregiver, a Republican Party activist, a devoted Christian community leader, and a green-thumb gardener. She was known as a devoted prayer intercessor, and established a spiritual heritage for her family and friends.
She is survived by her children, Larry Hutto (Robin) of Blackville, SC, Canaan Rice (Michael) of Barnwell, SC, and Timothy Hutto (Diane) of Rocky Mount, NC; grandchildren Joseph Hair, Jonathan (Pamela) Hair, Jacob (Jessica) Hair, Mitchell (Jenn) Hutto, and Ben Hutto; 11 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her son, Aaron Hutto (Dee) of Blackville, SC.
A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, October 12th, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Living Waters Fellowship, 2269 Ashleigh Rd Blackville, SC 29817. A private burial will be held at Blackville Cemetery.
