Obituary for Maxine Z. Brinkley
Mrs. Maxine Z. Brinkley 76 went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, November 2, 2020 surrounded by her loving family.
Maxine was born in Charleston, SC on October 6, 1944 and was the daughter of the late Blease and Bonnie Lou Zissette. Maxine was the owner of Brink’s Package Shop and she worked at her son Terry’s retail store Barnwell Pools.
Maxine loved life, having a good time, but most of all her family. Maxine was a fun, outgoing person who never met a stranger. She loved to go camping, to the beach, working in her garden – anything outside keeping her busy. Maxine was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend and will be missed by many.
Visitation for Maxine will be held at Mole’s funeral home in Barnwell, SC on November 6 from 6-8pm. A graveside service will be held at 11 am Saturday, November 7, 2020 in Barnwell County Memory Gardens in Barnwell, SC.
Survivors include her son, DeWaine “Terry” (Cimberlie) Brinkley Jr. of North Augusta, SC; daughters, Janet (Rick) Nash of Olar, SC and Michelle (Richard) Keel of Columbia, SC; grandchildren Courtney (Mitchell) Bodiford, Amanda (Ryan) Norris, Olivia Brinkley, Dillon Keel and Danielle Nash; great grandchildren, MJ, Max and Hunter, and a very special friend, Jim Brantley of North Augusta. She was predeceased by her husband DeWaine T. Brinkley, Sr.
