Obituary for Mildred Whittle
Springfield SC Mrs. Mildred Brown Whittle 84, passed away on May 30,2914 in the John E. Harter Nursing Center of Fairfax SC. Mrs. Whittle was born in Lexington SC on November 26,1929. She was the daughter of John and Lora Williams Brown. She was the widow of O.N. Whittle Jr. She was a homemaker and a member of Faith Christian Church. Funeral services will be held at 2pm Monday, June 2,2014 in the Mole Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. George Still officiating. Burial will follow in the Springfield Cemetery, Springfield SC. Survivors include daughters Lois Dale (Donnie) Williams and Maryline (Hal) Bolin; sons, Eddie Earl(Linda) Whittle and Jerry Whittle; brother Fred Brown; five grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter, Lockey Sue Whittle, son, Orin Jan Whittle, sisters, Ila Mae Brown, Eula Mae Griggs, Betty LeGrande, Tisha Mae Gleaton and Leomie Hartley, brothers Reed Brown and Donald Brown. The family would like to thank the staff at the John E. Harter Nursing Center for the love and care shown their mother during her time there.
