Obituary for Miriam Dyches Dorsey
Miriam Dyches Dorsey, 77, of Barnwell, SC passed away on Saturday July 26th, 2025. She was born on July 20th, 1948 to the late William F. Dyches and late Reba Dyches Martin. She retired from SRS. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Family and friends knew her as Grammie.
She is survived by her son Christopher (Danielle) Nettles, daughter Susan (Wayne) Shaw, sister Bonnie (Hennie) Dawson, and brother William F. - Billy (Susie) Dyches; grandchildren, Tanner Shaw, Bevin Shaw, Eric Nettles, Nicholas Nettles, Jamie (John) Cormany, Austin Hubbard, Taylor (Blake) Watts, and Zachary (Julia) Hubbard. Great-grandchildren, Olivia Nettles, Olivia Kennedy, Emberly Watts, and Brynlee Hubbard.
She is preceded in death by her husband Charles Dorsey, and her sister Faye Rountree.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 30th, 2025 from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Mole Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, July 31st, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Green Branch Pentecostal Holiness Church in Barnwell, SC with Graveside Services to follow at Southlawn Cemetery in Aiken, SC. Rev. Timothy Gunnells and Rev. Jeremy Creech will be officiating.
Pallbearers will be Trevor Zorn, Cole Creech, Jamie McCormack, Rusty Rountree, Blake Watts, and John Cormany, as well as an honorary pallbearer, Joey Auletta.
