Obituary for Myrtis Carter Morris
Mrs. Myrtis was born in Sycamore SC on January 4, 1926. She was a daughter of the late William Edward Carter Sr. and Mary Elizabeth Phillips Carter. She was a homemaker and work side by side with loving husband on the family farm. Mrs. Myrtis was known for her sweet spirit and was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great- great grandmother. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, October 24, 2019 at 11:30AM in the Olar First Baptist Church cemetery with Rev. Ted Still officiating, the family will receive friends from 10:00AM until 11:00AM Thursday at Mole Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Greenville Shriners Hospital for Children, 950 W. Faris Rd. Greenville SC 29605 or the charity of your choice.
Survivors include two daughters, Brenda Morris (Gene) Davis of Barnwell and Mary Anna Morris of Sycamore; grandchildren, Angie (Charles) Hutson of Barnwell and Jeff Davis of Olar, great grandchildren, Megan Hutson (Ray) Smith, Brent Hutson, Chase Hutson, JoEllen Davis and Mason Davis; great great grandchildren, Sarah Elizabeth Hutson, Gunner Hutson, Gavin Smith and Kole Hutson. She was predeceased by her brother, William Edward Carter Jr., sisters, Mary C. Brabham, Ruth C. Wilson and Laura C. Loadholdt.
