Obituary for Nelson Dyches
Nelson Dyches 66, of Barnwell passed away on Monday, November 14, 2016 at his home. Born in Barnwell County on December 27, 1949, he was a son of the late Vonell and Margorie Still Dyches. He was a retired painter. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 17, 2016 at 11:00 am in the Mole Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Doug Carroll and Rev. David Flanders officiating. Burial will follow in the Double Pond Baptist Church. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 6-8 pm. Survivors include his wife, Elaine Jones Dyches of Barnwell SC; son Nelson Dyches of Oregon, step sons, Drew (Jodi) Carroll of Folly Beach SC, Randy Carroll of Orange N.J., and Doug (Laura) Carroll of Greer SC; daughter, Jenny Dyches of California, step daughter, Jackie Middleton of Barnwell SC; brothers, James ( Joy) Dyches of Salley SC, and Jacky Dyches of Hilda SC; sister in law, Elizabeth Dyches of Hilda SC; nine grandchildren and one great grandchild, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Shirley Stanfield and Brothers Kenny, Donnie and Henry Dyches.
