Obituary for Nettie Herschberger Schrock
Mrs. Nettie (Herschberger) Schrock passed away peacefully on Friday, Jan. 29, 2016. She was born December 27, 1929 in Arthur, IL to Joe C. and Bertha (Miller) Herschberger. Mrs. Nettie was predeceased by her beloved husband, Rudy J. Schrock; a son, David Jay; a daughter, Cheryl Diane; a son-in-law, John Troyer; and two grandchildren. She is survived by her children: Levi (Gladys) Schrock, Viola (Dennis) Miller, Katherine Schrock, Marie (Gary) Miller, Ruth (Dennis) Carpenter, Allen (Lucinda) Schrock, Bertha (Alan) Gingerich, Esther (Jay) Eby; 34 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and a sister, Edna Nissley. Mrs. Nettie was well known for her generous, caring spirit! Her love and warmth touched everyone from the youngest to the oldest. She resided in Barnwell, SC and was an active member of Barnwell Mennonite Church. Visitation will be at the church Monday, Feb. 1, 2016 from 3:00-5:00 pm and 6:00-8:00 pm. The funeral will be at 10:00 am Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2016 at Barnwell Mennonite Church. Mole Funeral Home is assisting the family
