Norma Jean Still Easterling, 92, of Barnwell, SC passed into God’s hands April 6th, 2024 in Lexington, SC. She was born on January 29th, 1932 to the late Katie Winifred Black Still and Aaron Broadus Calhoun Still.
She is survived by her children, J Lynn Barnes (Jerry) of Orangeburg, SC, J Timothy Easterling of Savannah, MO, Jimmy O. Easterling (Melissa) of Barnwell, SC, Cynthia J. Easterling-Grys (Rodger) of Duluth, GA, and step-daughter Kandy Easterling (Gary) of North Port, FL; brother Winford Dyches (Miriam) of Eden, NC; grandchildren Daryll Barnes of Woodstock, GA, Matthew Barnes of Orangeburg, SC, Ryan Easterling (Michelle) of Bellevue, NE, Brett Easterling of Savannah, MO, Drew Easterling (Tanya) of Willis, TX, Neal Easterling (Sarah) of Milwaukee, WI, Timothy Easterling (Amber) of Louisville, KY, Kodee Monteith (Mitchell) of Rock Hill, SC; 12 great-grandchildren, as well as 2 great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, as well as her brother, Carl O. Still.
A visitation will be held Friday, April 12th, 2024 at 1:00 PM at First Baptist Church of Barnwell, with funeral services following at 2:00 PM. Graveside will be held in the Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Jeremy Creech will be officiating. Donations may be made in her honor to First Baptist Church Soup Kitchen.
