Obituary for Norma Jean Still Wooley
Norma Jean Still Wooley, 86, passed away on Thursday, October 18,2018.
Mrs. Wooley was born on December 13, 1931 in Barnwell County. She was a daughter of the late Doris R. and Mary Creech Still. She was a member of Hagood Ave. Baptist Church. Norma Jean retired from Burlington Mills after 20 years and as a caregiver. She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be missed by her family and friends.
Graveside services will be held 3 pm on Sunday, October 21, 2018 at the Barnwell Co. Memorial Cemetery by the airport with Rev. Ken Catoe officiating. The family will greet family and friends at the cemetery after the services. In lieu of flowers the family suggest that memorials be made to the Connie Maxwell Children’s Home, Greenwood SC
Survivors include her daughters, Dianne (Jim) Sanders of Ridgeway SC and Sherry (John) Gillam of Orangeburg SC; sister, Willadean (Leland) Colvin of Central SC; brother, Calvin Still of Lugoff SC; grandchildren, Christopher Gillam and Patrick (Kelsey) Gillam; great grandchild, Finn Gillam. She was also predeceased by sisters, June Still and Madeline Radar.
