Obituary for Ola Mae Still Hutto
Ola Mae Still Hutto, 95, widow of Archibald "Hop" Hutto passed away on Saturday, July11, 2015. Born in Barnwell County on August 1, 1919 she was a daughter of the late Luther Lavant "Bub" and Elizabeth Hair Still. She was a member of the Hilda First Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school until she was 93, sang in the choir was a member of the Senior Happy Group and the WMU. She was a precious loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, July 14, 2015 in the Hilda First Baptist Church with Rev. Gerry Williams and Rev. Donnie Delk. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 6-8 pm at the Hilda First Baptist Church. Survivors include her daughters, Grace (Rhett) Dyches of Blackville, Christine (Bernard) Kissam of Barnwell and Carolyn Hutto of Hilda; sisters, Harriett (Everon) Collins of Hilda, Elloree Ussery of Barnwell and Rosa Lee Owens of Grovetown GA.; granddaughter, Cynthia Dyches (H.T. Jr.) Flowers; great granddaughters, Annie Marie Flowers (Spencer) Carver and Hannah Elizabeth Flowers and great great grandchildren Spencer Wayde Carver and Welden Rhett Carver. Besides her husband she was predeceased by a son Edward Archibald Hutto and siblings, Guy Still, Pollen Still, Jethro (Check) Still, Luther Still, Jackie Hightower and Sarah Boyd.
