Obituary for Pearl H. Dixon
Pearl H. Dixon, age 82, passed away peacefully in her sleep on October 7, 2014 surrounded by her husband of 63 years and her family. She will always be remembered as the loving and faithful wife to W. Robert "Bob" Dixon. Bob and Pearl traveled the world during his career in the military and after retirement. Together, they visited all 50 states in the United States and a number of foreign countries. Pearl and Bob have five children, Deborah Dixon of Conway, SC.; Cheryl (Jerry) Courville of Cumming, GA.; Belinda (Mark) Inabinet of Lexington, SC; Bill (Donna) Dixon of Barnwell, SC; and Rick (Stephanie) Dixon of Hampton, SC. Pearl and Robert have eight grandchildren; Bobby (Mary Ann) Inabinet, Jennifer (Wes) Harris, Heather Dixon, Stephanie (Alan) Kennedy, Sabrina (Alexsis) Serrano, Kimberly (James) Franks, Hannah Dixon and Regan Dixon; and two great-grandchildren, Scarlett Harris and Desmond Harris; a sister, Irene (Billy) Swink of Murrells Inlet, SC. She was predeceased by her father and mother, Albert and Gladys Hutchinson and by a brother, A.E. Hutchinson. The funeral will be held at the Barnwell First Baptist Church located at 161 Allen Street on Friday, October 10, 2014 at 11:00 AM. Burial will be at the Barnwell County Memorial Cemetery (Airport Cemetery) immediately following the service. The visitation will be from 5-7p.m. at Mole Funeral Home, 9399 Patterson St. in Barnwell SC on Thursday, October 9, 2014. The family will be gathering at Peeples Farm Shed in Barnwell on Bon Accord St. across from the main entrance to Sweetwater Country Club on Hwy 64, west of Barnwell prior to the visitation and funeral. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to: the Elevator Fund, First Baptist Church of Barnwell, 161 Allen Street, Barnwell, SC 29812
