Funeral services for Phillip Brooks Ferguson, 66, of St. Petersburg Fl. Will be held at 11 am Saturday, November 15, 2014 in the Mole Funeral Home Chapel, Barnwell SC. With Rev. Mark Epperson and Rev. George Pevey officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Olivet Baptist Church. Phil was born in Barnwell County on Nov. 13, 1948. He was a son of Katherine Briggs Ferguson Johnson and the late William Wesley Ferguson. He was a member of Faith Fellowship Church in St. Petersburg and former member of Mt. Olivet Baptist Church. Survivors include his mother, Katherine Johnson of St. Petersburg, FL, brother, Owen Ferguson of Sylvania, GA, sisters, Gladys Hobb of St. Petersburg, FL and Kathy Fox of Lakeland, FL. Numerous nieces and nephews and his beloved dog Holly.
