Obituary for Ralph T. Jones, Jr.
Mr. Ralph T. Jones, Jr., 83 passed away peacefully Monday, March 28, 2016 in Barnwell, SC. Mr. Jones was born in Hendersonville, NC on March 31, 1932 to the late Ralph T. and Olive Brown Jones, Sr.. He was a member at the Barnwell United Methodist Church and a retired forester with Augusta News Print. He served in the United States NAVY. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 31, 2016 at 3:00PM in the Barnwell United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers memorial may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Alzheimer's Association. Mole Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Survivors include his wife, Laura Stevenson Jones of the home, daughter Teresa (John) Wilkinson of Columbia, son, Archie (Cathy) Jones of Summerville, 3 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren, and his faithful companion "Puddin". He was predeceased by his first wife, Alice D. Jones and a sister Jeanette Nattress.
