Obituary for Rev. Herbert Lee Rudd
Reverend Herbert Lee Rudd, 84, passed away in Veterans Victory House Nursing Home in Walterboro SC on Sunday, May 4, 2014. Rev. Rudd was born in Dorchester County on May 22,1929. He was the son of the late Richard Lawton and Dora Candice Martin Rudd. He was a retired ordained Church of God Bishop and a World II Marine Veteran. A visitation and viewing will be held Wednesday May 7,2014 at Mole Funeral Home in Barnwell from 11:00 am_12: noon with graveside services to be held at 1:300 pm at the Crestlawn Memorial Park in Orangeburg SC. Rev. Rudd was predeceased by his wife of 61 years Betty Jane Rudd. Survivors include his daughter, Angie (Terry) Mise of Barnwell SC.; his son, Mark (Tammy) Rudd of Aiken SC; seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Church of God Retired Ministers Fund at State Headquarters PO Box 309, Mauldin SC 29662.
