Obituary for Ricky Jefferies Zorn
Richard Jefferies “Ricky” Zorn, 52, after a protracted battle with cancer passed away peacefully on Sunday December 10, 2017 at Providence Health Hospital in Columbia SC.
Ricky was born in Bamberg Co. on April 30, 1965. He was a son of Patrick Furman Zorn and Ann Fail Toole. He was a truck driver and loved being on the road and meeting people. Ricky was a very giving, kind, and caring person. He had a true love for children. He believed in his Savior Jesus Christ and he loved everyone. Ricky enjoyed the simple things and loved life. We called him Bubba and he had many nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday December 13, 2017 at 2 pm in the Friendship Baptist Church with Rev. Kyle Hardin officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the services at the church and after the funeral services the family will greet friends in the church social hall and at the residence of James and Anne Toole, 306 Heather Rd. Olar SC
Survivors include his parents, Sylvia Ann and James Charles Toole and Patrick Furman Sr and Pamelene Zorn; his sisters and Brothers, Frances Ann Beach, Patty Lynn (Hank) Zorn, Evonne (Ken) Villegas, Keith (MaDonna) Toole, Tanya Boyle, Katrina Marrequez, Dixie Zorn, Corey Zorn, Kevin Zorn, Paul Vance and Phillip Beard. He was predeceased by a son, Leroy Alvin Carroll who died in infancy. A brother, Patrick Zorn Jr. two nephews, Chad Williams and K.C. Grubbs.
