Obituary for Robert Britton Liverman
Robert Britton Liverman, 74, passed away on Thursday, May 7, 2015 at his home. Bob was born in Richland County on November 14, 1940. He was a son of the late Dr. James S. Liverman and the late Belle Gaskins Liverman. He was a graduate of Clemson University and received his Master's Degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He was a retired systems analyst with IBM Corp. He was a man of many talents, he loved computers, reading, movies, photography and traveling. He was a veteran of the US Navel Reserves. He will be remembered by his family as a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. A memorial service will be held at 11 am Saturday, May 9, 2015 in the Lexington Baptist Church, 308 E Main St. Lexington SC with burial to follow at 4 pm in the Barnwell Co. Memorial Cemetery at the airport. The family will receive friends on Friday, May 8, 2015 from 6-8 pm at Mole Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Tri County Hospice, National MS Society or the James Stanley Liverman MD Scholarship at USC School of Medicine. Survivors include his wife, Mary Duncan Liverman of Barnwell SC; Step mother, Kathryn Wingard Liverman of Lexington SC; daughters, Robin (Bobby) Smith of Barnwell SC; Cindy (John) Eans of Beaufort SC, Karen (Brad) Hobday of Davidson NC and Meg (Brian) Sammons of Waxhaw NC; Grandchildren' Brittany Smith of Barnwell SC, Rachel Eans and Sarah Eans of Beaufort SC, Allie Hobday of Davidson NC and Madeline Sammons and Malorie Sammons of Waxhaw NC;Brother, Dr. Joseph T. Liverman of Nashville NC and sisters, Jean Anne Keeter of Winterville NC, Linda Darter of Atlanta GA, Stanette Brown of Lexington SC, Janette Shealy of Atlanta GA and Lu Bickley of Lexington SC. He was predeceased by two brothers, James S Liverman Jr. and James D. Liverman.
