Obituary for Robert Franklin Cook
Robert Franklin Cook, 75, passed away June 19, 2013 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Bamberg, SC on January 29, 1938, he was the son of the late Murray and Bendell Priester Cook. He was a member of Ashleigh Baptist Church where he was very involved with directing Sunday school to nursing home ministry. He served in the U.S. Navy. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2013 in Ashleigh Baptist Church at 3:00pm with Rev. Bob Scroggs and Rev. Alfred Still and Rev Robert Dean Cook officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Military Honors. Pallbearers will be; Greg Campbell, Kenny Dobson, Zack Chavis, Arnold Benton, Brian Manuel, Roy Brock, and D.J. Boots. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6-8pm at Mole Funeral Home. In Lieu of flowers memorial may be made to The American Cancer Society, 200 Jefferson St. Barnwell SC 29812 or The American Diabetes Association, 1701North Beauregard St., PO Box 11454, Alexandria VA.22321 Survivors include his loving wife, Betty Jo Campbell Cook of the home, sons; Robert Dean (Sharion) Cook, Tony Gerald (Jackie) Cook, and Steven Blake (April) Cook, daughter; Cindy Cook (Bill) Radford, grandchildren; Charity Simpson, April Ortiz, B.J. Radford, Heather Cook, Kyle Cook, and Christin Cook, great grandchildren; Caleb Simpson, Rylee Simpson, Kaden Simpson, Gavin Cook, Luis Ortiz, Hank Ortiz, and Landen Radford, sisters; Evelyn Dyches and Jackie Manuel.
