Obituary for Robert S. "Bobby" Morris
Robert S. "Bobby" Morris, 80, passed away on Wednesday, August 28, 2013 at the Lexington Medical Center. Bobby was born in Barnwell County on April 18, 1933. He was a son of the late Elisha William Daniel and Lottie Hair Morris. He retired as owner of Capital City Music Co. He was a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and friend. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 11 am Tuesday, September 3, 2013 at Friendship Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday evening at Mole Funeral Home from 6-8 pm. Survivors include a son, Chris Morris of Leesville SC; daughters, Deborah Kay Morris Coffman of Batesburg, Melissa Morris and Sharon Morris of Olar; brother, Jack Morris of Barnwell; sister, Patricia (Duist) Croft of Barnwell; 12 grandchildren, Jennifer Carey Morris, Diedra Michelle Coffman, Kimberlee Bell Coffman, Elizebeth Kay Coffman, Jessika Hope Sparks, Amber Lynn Morris, Christine Summer Morris, Robert Daniel Lee Atkins, Cory Allen Caudill and Ethan Keith Batchler; 17 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a grandson Ryan Scott Caudill and a great grandchild; brothers, John Joseph Morris, McCoy Morris and Daniel Lafayette Morris; sisters, Vera Mae Morris, Zelma Cato, Helen Inabinet, Florence Stanley Rhodes Manton.
