Obituary for Ronnie Jackson Long
Ronnie Jackson Long, 62, passed away on October 15th, 2024. He was born in Barnwell, SC on July 10th, 1962 to the late Harry Long and Mary Dyches Long. Ronnie enjoyed fishing and working in his yard, he loved being outdoors. More than anything, he loved spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Angela Still Long; daughter Rhonda Long Spell; son Bradley Long; grandchildren Cameron, Autumn, Savannah, Easton, and Taygan; brothers Herbert (Patricia) Long and Mike Long; sisters-in-law Lisa (Doug) Cohen, Patricia (Brian) Miller, Lynn (Brion) Holland; many nieces and nephews; as well as his best friends, Steve and Neba Davis, Butch Hutto, and Darwin Dyches.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Mary Long; sisters Beth and Kathy; and his brother, Elbert.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, October 20th, 2024 at 3:00 PM at Trinity Baptist Church, with funeral services following at 4:00 PM. Rev. Rommie Martin and Brion Holland will be officiating. Graveside will be held in the Trinity Baptist Church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Butch Hutto, Doug Cohen, Brian Miller, Christian Love, Logan Love, and Wesley Delk. Honorary Pallbearers will be Steve Davis and Alex Cobb.
