Obituary for Ronnie Luther Grubbs Sr.
Ronnie Luther Grubbs Sr., 59, passed away at his home on Tuesday, December 16, 2014. Ronnie was born on April 14, 1955 in Barnwell County SC. He was a son of the late Martin J. and Vernice Still Grubbs. He was also predeceased by his wife Reba Chavis Grubbs. He was a retired employee with Bechtel Corp. Savannah River Site. He was an avid gardener and a loving father and grandfather. Funeral services will be held at 11 am Saturday, Dec. 20,2014 at the Mount Lebanon Christian Church with Rev. George Still and Rev. Ron Franklin officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, December 19, 2014 at Mole Funeral Home. Survivors include his daughter Missy (Drew) Platts of Barnwell; sons Ron (Leslie) Grubbs of Barnwell and Eddie (Maria) Grubbs of Hilda; brothers Wayne (Kathy) Grubbs and Ricky (Teresa) Grubbs of Barnwell; grandchildren Luke Grubbs, Joey Grubbs, Albany Platts and D.J. Platts.
