Obituary for Sara Sexton
Sara Seigler Sexton, 94,widow of Ben T. Sexton Sr. passed away at her home on July 20,2014. Mrs. Sexton was born on August 11, 1919 in Aiken SC. She was the daughter of the late Dempsy Wardlaw and Gussie Wright Seigler Sexton. She was a retired employee of Millekin and Evelyn's Jewelry, and a member of the Barnwell First Baptist Church, were she taught the 3yr old Sunday school class for over 25 years. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 24, 2014 at 3:00PM in the Mole Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Keith Richardson Officiating. The Family will receive friends at the funeral home 1 hour prior to the service. Survivors include her sons; Ben T. (Geri) Sexton, Jr. of Marrietta, GA, Curt (Carleen) Sexton of Aiken, daughter Elizabeth (David) Hughey of Barnwell, grandchildren, Kendra McCabe, Staci Funk, Bruce Hughey, Chad Hughey, Will Sexton, Penny Young, and 10 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a grandson, Brett Schmidt. The family would like to thank Caroline Wilson and Sherlene Dorch for the loving care they gave Mrs. Sexton during her illness.
