Obituary for Shirley Page Christy
Shirley Page Christy, 93, passed away at the Aiken Rehabilitation and Care Center in Aiken, SC on February 7, 2026 following a long illness. She was born in Erwin, NC on January 6, 1933 to the late Earnest Farley Page and Gladys Avery Page.
She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was full of life and love and will be sorely missed by the family she loved so much.
She is survived by her daughters, Donna Procida of Flagler Beach, FL., Michelle Thorne of Pleasant Garden, NC and her son Larry Christy of Barnwell, SC. She was a loving grandmother to Matthew Christy of Peachtree City, GA., Andrea Breedlove of Pleasant Garden, NC, Brandon Thorne of Greensboro, NC, Maranda Christy of Macon, GA., and Nicholas Christy of Columbia, SC. She had 9 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Lee Christy, Sr. and her oldest son Clifford Lee (Kip) Christy, Jr. as well as her brothers, Rufus Page and Lloyd Page.
A public memorial service will not be held as the family is opting for a private service at a later date.
