Obituary for Simon "Jack" Sanders, Jr.
Simon “Jack” Sanders Jr. 83, passed away on Wednesday, March 25, 2020 in the Pruitt Health Care of Barnwell SC.
Jack was born in Barnwell County on August 2, 1936 and was a son of the late Simon Sanders Sr. and Martha Eloise Still Sanders. He was a retired electrician. He was a member of Green Branch Pentecostal Holiness Church. He was a loving father, grandfather and great grandfather. He will be missed by his family and friends.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, March 27, 2020 at 4 pm in the Green Branch PHC Cemetery. The family will receive friends after the services.
Survivors include his son Jackie Sanders of Olar; daughters, Kathy (Ronnie) Still of Olar and Cyndi (Timmy) Bessinger of Olar; sisters, Bonnetta S. Bolen and Ruth Love; brothers Ray Sanders and Hubie Sanders; 8 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Sylvia Still Sanders, a son, Timothy Sanders, a sister, Shirley Still and brothers, Oneal, Everett and Wayne Sanders.
