Obituary for Stanley Philip Ray
Stanley Philip “Stan” Ray, 48, passed away on Saturday, June 17, 2017 from a swimming accident on the Savannah River.
Born in Barnwell SC on Oct 21, 1968, he was a son of Farrell T. Ray Sr. and Betty Grubbs Ray. He was a self- employed recycler and a member of Allen’s Chapel Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Thursday, June 22, 2017 at Allen’s Chapel Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at Mole Funeral Home from 6-8 pm on Wednesday evening.
Survivors include his parents, Farrell and Barbara Ray of Olar and Betty Grubbs Ray of Barnwell; brother and sister in law, Farrell T. “Bucky” (Lisa) Ray Jr of Ulmer; son Winton Philip Ray of Milledgeville Ga. Many aunts, uncles and cousins.
