Stephen A. Dellairo, 38, passed away at home. He was born on August 15th, 1985 in Barnwell, SC to Ted Padgett and Diane Marie Dellairo.
He was a loving father, son, brother, uncle, and cousin. He worked as an Auto Mechanic for DOT for 10 years, as well as working at other auto shops throughout his career. He enjoyed spending time with his children and his family. He loved to coach them in sports, he always took them swimming at Ray’s Crossing. Their favorite things were swimming, arcades, and drag strips. He had wonderful, loving parents, Ted Padgett and Diane Dellairo. They enjoyed going fishing together, liked to garden, and enjoyed listening to classic rock music. Stephen always enjoyed working on cars, fishing, and playing the guitar.
He has four loving kids, Jayden Dellairo, Ian Dellairo, Stephen Dellairo Jr., and Briar Dellairo. He was a loving brother to Lynn Padgett, Cheryl Dellairo, Melissa Padgett, and Janet Padgett, an uncle to Miley Padgett, Nathan Padgett, Dallas Padgett, Desiree Haley, Kenneth Haley Jr., Diante Rockenstine, Nakia Haley, Sylvia Haley, and Kayviona Washington, as well as a cousin to Josh Padgett and Ben Padgett. They enjoyed hanging out, playing the guitar, and doing many outdoor activities. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Ralph and Anne-Lee Padgett, whom he loved so dearly.
Now you rest with the heavenly father, and you will be very well missed and loved as a father, a son, a brother, and cousin.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, August 4th, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Mole Funeral Home, with funeral services to follow at 3:00 PM in the Mole Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside will be held at Ghent’s Branch Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Jeremy Creech will be officiating.
