Obituary for Steven "Cal" Jones Sr
Barnwell SC Steven C. "Cal" Jones Sr., 823, passed away on Wednesday, April 2,2014. At the Uni Health PAC in Barnwell, SC Cal was born in Salley SC on February 24,1932. He was a son of the late Al and Louise Corley Jones. He was a retired employee of the Savannah River Plant. He loved golf and baseball. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He will be missed by his family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Saturday, April 5,2014 at Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Dale Hutto and Rev. Richard McWhite officiating. Burial will follow in the Barnwell Co. Memorial Cemetery at the airport. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until the hour of service at the church. Survivors include his beloved wife, Ocie Greene Jones of Barnwell; daughter, Debbie Jones (Billy) Dozier of Barnwell; sons, Steven C. (Debra) Jones Jr. of Williston and Edwin L. (Jennifer) Jones of Barnwell; grandchildren, Edwin L. (Carly) Jones Jr, Amber J.(Michael) Polk, Kelli (Trent) Howell, Michael (Jamie) Jones James Arnold Jones; five great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a granddaughter, Teresa Dozier, a brother, James Al Jones and sister, Carolyn Armstrong
