Thomas Dallis Creighton, III., 91 of Snelling, SC passed away August 23, 2019 in Greenville, SC
Born in Barnwell on August 4, 1928, he was the son of the late Thomas Dallis and Louise Hill Creighton. He was retired from the Savannah River Plant. He finished DeVry Technical Institute in 1956 and attended USC Salkahachie in 1995 studying Bible. He was a licensed Lay Speaker. He was President of the Scarlet Knights band booster club. He was a life member and past Master of Harmony Masonic Lodge #17, former Deacon and a Sunday School Teacher for over 50 years at Seven Pines Baptist Church. He was also a private pilot and author.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 27, 2019 at 2:00PM with visitation beginning at 1:00PM in Seven Pines Baptist Church with Pastor Mark Watford officiating. Burial will follow in the Barnwell County Memorial Cemetery with Masonic Rites. Mole Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
He is survived by his daughter, Belinda (Bob) Finley of Greenville, daughter in law, Janet Morris Creighton of Snelling, grandchildren Thomas (Angela) Creighton, Monica (John) Brewer, Heather (Mike) Still, Hance Finley, and Gretchen Finley, great grandchildren, Thomas “T” Creighton, Ian Creighton, Riley Creighton, and Arwen Brewer, and a sister, Peggy King. He is predeceased by his wife Betty Collins Creighton and a son, Thomas D. “Tommy” Creighton, IV.
