Obituary for Vonetta Delk Still
Vonetta Delk Still, 80, passed away on June 30th, 2023. She was born in Barnwell County, SC to the late J.D. and Edith Hartzog Delk.
Vonetta was a lifelong member of Double Pond, where she married her husband of 55 years. She loved to travel to Florida and Edisto Beach. She was especially proud of her three sons, daughter-in-laws, brother and loved her sister-in-law as a daughter, but her favorite titles were Memaw and Aunt Von. She loved spoiling her grands, nephew, niece and great nephew. Each member of her family was her pride and joy.
She is survived by her husband, Obie Still; sons Derek (Daphne) Still, Jody (Kristen) Still, and Reggie (Heather) Still; grandchildren Caroline, Cooper, Logan, Lucas, Isaiah, Lexi, and Garrett; brother Jay (Branna) Delk; nephew Tyler Delk; niece Hayley (Rookie) Gunn; and great-nephew Bennett Gunn.
A visitation will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 PM Sunday, July 2nd, 2023 at Mole Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, July 3rd, 2023 at Double Pond Baptist Church with Rev. Andy Sandifer and Rev. Donnie Delk, and Rev. Thomas Terry officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
