Obituary for Wanda Zissette Bragg
Wanda Zissette Bragg, 81, of Barnwell, SC passed away on Saturday, May 17th, 2025. She was born on March 15th, 1944 to the late Herman Zissette and Idell Croft Creech. She was a member of Reedy Branch Baptist Church, owner of Wanda’s Beauty Shop for over 55 years, and former employee of Mole Funeral Home. She was a most loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Her grandchildren knew her as Gangee.
She is survived by her son, Douglas M. “Doug” (Tammy) Bragg of Barnwell, SC; daughters Lawanda Bragg of Barnwell, SC and Tanya (Bruce) Bolen of Barnwell, SC; grandchildren Brooke (Brandon) Chavis, Lauren (Josh) Hudson, Bailee (McKaylin) Bolen, Colton Bolen, Clay (Alexandra) Tucker, and Morgan Tucker; great-grandchildren Brantley Hudson, Mackston Hudson, Knox Bolen, Tessa Chavis, and two on the way.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Douglas M. “Mac” Bragg; as well as her brothers Dean Zissette, William Creech, and Billy Roy Creech.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 21st, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Mole Funeral Home, with funeral services following in the Mole Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 AM. Rev. Harry Warren will be officiating. Graveside will be held in the Barnwell County Memorial (Airport) Cemetery.
