Obituary for Wayne Renew
Wayne Renew, 78, of Barnwell, SC passed away June 17, 2024 at the home of his brother, Donnie, surrounded by his loving family.
Wayne was proceeded in death by his parents, Wallace & Elizabeth Renew, and brother, Ronnie Renew.
Wayne served 6 years in the South Carolina National Guard. He retired from construction work several years ago. He worked for several different companies, throughout Georgia and South Carolina. He was retired from the carpenter’s local union 225 in Atlanta, Ga. Wayne was an avid fisherman and spent many hours on the lakes, the sea, and rivers. He enjoyed playing golf, cooking, and entertaining family and friends.
Wayne is survived by brothers Donnie (Suzanne) Renew & Danny (Terri) Renew. He is also survived by Johnnie Hunter (Renew) and numerous loving nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews, as well as many cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday evening from 6:00pm-8:00pm at Mole Funeral Home and funeral service following Thursday morning at 10:00am at Trinity Baptist Church with Rev. Rommie Martin officiating. Graveside will follow in the Barnwell County Memory Gardens Cemetery.
