Obituary for Wilbur Bernard Kissam Jr.
Wilbur Bernard Kissam Jr., 73, passed away on Wednesday, June 8, 2016 in the Providence Hospital, Columbia SC. Bernard was born on August 11, 1942 in Orangeburg SC and was a son of the late Wilbur Bernard Kissam Sr. and Hazel Mims Kissam Edwards. He retired after 40 yrs. from the air conditioner department at Milliken & Co. Barnwell Plant. He was a member of the Gillette United Methodist Church and Harmony Masonic Lodge #17. Funeral Services will be held at 11 am Saturday in the Mole Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. George Hudson officiating. Burial will follow in the Barnwell County Memorial Cemetery at the airport. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday evening from 6-8 pm. Survivors include his wife, Christine Hutto Kissam of Barnwell; cousins, Debbie Mims (Joe) Harter, Ruthie Mims (Wyman) Wall, Billy (Elana) Hershey and Carolyn Hershey; Sisters in law, Grace H. (Rhett) Dyches and Carolyn Huttto; one niece.
