Obituary for William Francis "Will" Stevenson
William Francis “Will” Stevenson, 68, went to be with his Lord in Heaven on September 22, 2019 at the University Medical Center of Augusta GA.
Will was born on October 30, 1950 in Orangeburg SC. He was a son of the late Gerard and Myrtis Harter Stevenson. He was a retired employee of Environmental Association and a member of the Barnwell First Baptist Church. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and brother. He will be missed by his family and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at 2 PM at the Barnwell First Baptist Church with Rev. Bart Kelley and Rev. Mike Catoe officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Arnon Baptist Church Cemetery in Allendale SC. The family will receive friends one hour before the services at the church.
Survivors include his loving wife, Lynda Hoover Stevenson of Barnwell; son, Jonathan (April) Still of John’s Island; daughter, Allison Still Beasley of Charleston; brothers, Robert (Willie Mae) Stevenson of Gainesville GA, Roddy (Mona) Stevenson of Melbourne FL; sisters Laura Stevenson Jones of Chapin and Nelia Stevenson Cone of Barnwell; grandchildren Jamee Beasley, Jim Beasley, Jackson Beasley, Justin Leonard and Callie Stevenson; great grandchildren, Emily and Jacob Garner and Rowen Leonard. Will was predeceased by a son, Dale Stevenson, brothers, Benny Stevenson and Don Stevenson and a sister Beverly Futch..
