Obituary for joseph Clarence Mise Jr.
Oklahoma City, Oklahoma Joseph Clarence Mise Jr. passed away peacefully from this life on June 13, 2013 at his residence in Oklahoma City. He was born on January 27, 1949 in Hickory North Carolina to Joseph Clarence Mise Sr. and Elizabeth Louise Isom. Joey is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Betty Baxley Mise; his four children, Emily Walker Mise, Lauren Louise Luge, Joseph Kennedy Mise and Ashley Ann Mise; grandson, Joseph Kennedy Mise Jr.; his father, Joseph Clarence Mise Sr.; his siblings, Robert Mise and his wife Becky, Terry Mise and his wife Angie, Linda McCoy and her husband Tommy and Richard Mise and his wife Jackie. He was preceeded in death by his mother and brother Eric Mise. He graduated from Barnwell High School in 1967 and received a Bachelor's of Science Degree from the University of South Carolina. He worked for Ryder Truck Rental for over 18 years in the capacity of division Controller and then as an accountants for Health Markets. We will honor Joey's life at the United Methodist Church on Main St, Barnwell SC., at 2:00 pm Friday, June 21, 2013. He will be interred in the Churchyard of the Holy Apostles Episcopal Church. Please send memorials to St. Augustine's of Canterbury Episcopal Church or Limbs for Life in Oklahoma City. Mole Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
